Description
Another in my "Everyday Objects" series, though in this one, I stray from the format a bit by having smoke emanating from the vent on the top of the kettle. In this vivid piece, I've merged pop art's boldness with realism's detail, using acrylics to bring this everyday scene to life. I hope to evoke the joy of shared moments and the simple pleasure of outdoor cooking on a grill. Anyone that has ever barbecued should take an instant liking to this one and the bright green background is a reminder of green grass and summer fun-filled days.
