Description
The Tel Aviv Savidor central railway station is the main central train station of Tel Aviv.
Savidor station is one of the main railway hubs of Israel, located on the eastern side of Tel Aviv, at the border between Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan.
The railway tracks lie between the southbound and northbound lanes of Ayalon Highway. The station has three passenger platforms serving six tracks, more than any other station in Israel.
This station replaced Tel Aviv first train station called Hatachana, located near Jaffa and Neveh Tzedek neighborhood which is one of the first neighborhoods of Tel Aviv. There are many photos of the old railway station here in my gallery.
Tel Aviv is today the cultural and business hub of Israel and is an active city with lively entertainment, culture, art, fashion events, movie theaters, shopping malls, food festivals, a variety of cuisines and an attractive nightlife scene.
The city enjoys a sense of international chic and all these have made Tel Aviv the business capital of Israel and an international center for conventions, exhibitions, and conferences.
